Healthy Vegetable Soup
Vegetable soups are a great option nutritionally as they provide you with lots of vitamins and nutrients .Since soups are mostly liquid, they're a great way to stay hydrated and full. They give your immune system a boost. Soups can help you stave off cold and flu, and they're a great antidote for times when you are sick, too! So try this out for a healthy soup and i know its not a yummy tasty food for your tastebuds but yes you can consider it if you want to be healthy and fit.
Ingredients:
- Vegetables( your choice e.g. carrot, beetroot,cabbage, potato,sweetcorn,etc)
- Salt: as per taste
- Black pepper: as per taste
- Corn flour:2 tablespoons
- Water:4 glasses
- Olive oil:1 tablespoons
Method:
- Chop roughly all the vegetables. Wash them thoroughly.
- Add olive oil in a saucepan and add chopped vegetables. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes .
- Add water and salt
- Boil for a minute and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes .
- Add black pepper.
- Dissolve corn flour in water and make a paste.
- Add this paste to the soup and mix well.
- Cook for 5 more minutes and switch off the flame.
- Adjust salt and spice as per your taste and add more if required.
- Serve hot .
- Best immunity booster for cold and flu symptoms.
