Ingredients:
- Raw Papayya; 1 tbsp(grated or crushed)
- shahzeera: one and half tsp
- Dadcheeni: 6 inch piece
- clove :9 to 10
- black pepper: half tsp
- cardomom powder: one tsp
- black cordomom: two
- onion: one sliced medium size
- green chillies: 14
- spring onion: half cup
- corriander leaves: half cup chopped
- mint leaves: half cup chopped
- onion: 4 fried till golden brown
- curd: 300 ml
- ginger garlic paste: 2 tbsp
- salt : As per taste
- red chilli powder : one tsp
- mutton :one kg washed
- oil:300 ml
- Basmati rice: 1 kg Washed and soaked for half an hour
Method:
- Take a raw papayya and grate it using a grater. Take only one tablespoon of it. Apply this paste on washed mutton.
- Add ginger garlic paste ,salt ,raw onion,red chilli powder then add all raw spices . Mix these spices well and marinate the mutton for atleast half an hour.

Add caption - Now add fried onions , corriander leaves, mint leaves, geen chillies, spring onion and mix well
- Add curd and mix well
- now add 100 ml oil
- On the stove and add water and salt as per your taste and bring it to boil
- now add soaked rice and cook till it is done 70 % and then strain the rice
- Take a big bowl in which you have to cook the biryani
- add a thin layer of rice then add one and half tbsp oil then add marinated mutton on top of it
- Now add rice and level it on top
- Add colour or saffron soaked in milk
- add one cup of water in which the rice is cooked
- Add the remaining oil on top
- Now take dough and apply it on all the corners of bowl and cook for 5 mins on high flame and 25 mins on low flame
- Now open the lid mix it well and serve with raita
- Mutton biryani is ready
