Veg noodles recipe

Noodles

Ingredients:

  1. Noodles:2 packs or 2 bunches
  2. Salt: as per taste
  3. Carrot:1 chopped
  4. Onion: 1 sliced ( optional)
  5. Capsicum:1/2 chopped
  6. Cabbage: half cup sliced thin
  7. Spring onion: 3 tablespoons.
  8. Green chillies:3 sliced
  9. Soya sauce:2 teaspoon
  10. Tomato sauce:1 tablespoons
  11. Chilli sauce: 1 teaspoon
  12. Black pepper:1/2 teaspoon
  13. Oil:1 1/2 tablespoons
  14. Vinegar:1 teaspoon
  15. Ginger and garlic: 1 teaspoon chopped.

Method:

  1. Take a vessel and add 1 litre of water .
  2. Add salt , 1 teaspoon oil and noodles when the water comes to boil.
  3. Boil the noodles until they are 90% cooked.
  4. Strain the noodles and add one glass of cold water and also add a teaspoon of oil to avoid noodles from sticking.
  5. In a large frying pan add oil.
  6. Add chopped ginger , garlic and green chillies and saute for few seconds.
  7. Add onion, spring onion and saute for a minute.
  8. Add sliced carrots and capsicum and saute well for 2 mins.
  9. Add cabbage sliced thinly.
  10. Add little salt and cook the vegetables for about 3 -4 minutes.
  11. Add soya sauce, vinegar, tomato sauce, chilli sauce and black pepper and mix well.
  12. Now add the cooked noodles and toss well .
  13. Cook for a minute or two and switch off the flame.
  14. Garnish with spring onions.
  15. Serve hot.
