Veg noodles recipe
Ingredients:
- Noodles:2 packs or 2 bunches
- Salt: as per taste
- Carrot:1 chopped
- Onion: 1 sliced ( optional)
- Capsicum:1/2 chopped
- Cabbage: half cup sliced thin
- Spring onion: 3 tablespoons.
- Green chillies:3 sliced
- Soya sauce:2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce:1 tablespoons
- Chilli sauce: 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper:1/2 teaspoon
- Oil:1 1/2 tablespoons
- Vinegar:1 teaspoon
- Ginger and garlic: 1 teaspoon chopped.
Method:
- Take a vessel and add 1 litre of water .
- Add salt , 1 teaspoon oil and noodles when the water comes to boil.
- Boil the noodles until they are 90% cooked.
- Strain the noodles and add one glass of cold water and also add a teaspoon of oil to avoid noodles from sticking.
- In a large frying pan add oil.
- Add chopped ginger , garlic and green chillies and saute for few seconds.
- Add onion, spring onion and saute for a minute.
- Add sliced carrots and capsicum and saute well for 2 mins.
- Add cabbage sliced thinly.
- Add little salt and cook the vegetables for about 3 -4 minutes.
- Add soya sauce, vinegar, tomato sauce, chilli sauce and black pepper and mix well.
- Now add the cooked noodles and toss well .
- Cook for a minute or two and switch off the flame.
- Garnish with spring onions.
- Serve hot.
