Banana malpua

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour:1/2 cup
  2. Sooji:1/2 cup
  3. Salt: a pinch
  4. Sugar:1/2 cup
  5. Banana: ripe 1
  6. Milk:1 glass
  7. Cardomom powder:1/2 teaspoon
  8. Saffron: few strands
  9. Fennel seeds:1 teaspoon
  10. Dry fruits: for garnishing

Method:

  1. Take a bowl and mash the banana
  2. Add milk and mix well
  3. Add sooji,all purpose flour,salt, fennel seeds, cardomom powder,powdered sugar and saffron .
  4. Whisk well and make a smooth batter.
  5. Keep this aside for half an hour to two hours.
  6. In a frying pan heat oil for frying.
  7. With a tablespoon add the batter in different portions and fry well on medium flame.
  8. Remove after they turn golden brown.
  9. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve
