Banana malpua recipe
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour:1/2 cup
- Sooji:1/2 cup
- Salt: a pinch
- Sugar:1/2 cup
- Banana: ripe 1
- Milk:1 glass
- Cardomom powder:1/2 teaspoon
- Saffron: few strands
- Fennel seeds:1 teaspoon
- Dry fruits: for garnishing
Method:
- Take a bowl and mash the banana
- Add milk and mix well
- Add sooji,all purpose flour,salt, fennel seeds, cardomom powder,powdered sugar and saffron .
- Whisk well and make a smooth batter.
- Keep this aside for half an hour to two hours.
- In a frying pan heat oil for frying.
- With a tablespoon add the batter in different portions and fry well on medium flame.
- Remove after they turn golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve
