Homemade egg mayonnaise

Mayonnaise, informally mayo, is a thick cold condiment or dressing commonly used in sandwiches, hamburgers, composed salads or on French fries. It is also a base in sauces such as Tartar sauce. It is a stable emulsion of oil, egg yolk, and an acid, either vinegar or lemon juice.

Ingredients:

  1. Egg:1
  2. Olive oil: one cup
  3. Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  4. Sugar:1/2 teaspoon
  5. Veniger: 1 tablespoons

Method:

  1. In a mixer jar add one egg. Blend for 30 seconds on high speed. You can use hand blender also and electric whisk also.
  2. Now add vinegar,salt, sugar and little olive oil and blend it.
  3. Keep adding little by little olive oil and beating it so that it becomes thick creamy consistency.
  4. Your homemade egg mayonnaise is ready.
  5. Serve it with bread,burgers,salads,french fries ,etc
