Homemade egg mayonnaise
Mayonnaise, informally mayo, is a thick cold condiment or dressing commonly used in sandwiches, hamburgers, composed salads or on French fries. It is also a base in sauces such as Tartar sauce. It is a stable emulsion of oil, egg yolk, and an acid, either vinegar or lemon juice.
Ingredients:
- Egg:1
- Olive oil: one cup
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Sugar:1/2 teaspoon
- Veniger: 1 tablespoons
Method:
- In a mixer jar add one egg. Blend for 30 seconds on high speed. You can use hand blender also and electric whisk also.
- Now add vinegar,salt, sugar and little olive oil and blend it.
- Keep adding little by little olive oil and beating it so that it becomes thick creamy consistency.
- Your homemade egg mayonnaise is ready.
- Serve it with bread,burgers,salads,french fries ,etc
