Malai kulfi homemade
Ingredients:
- Milk: 1 litre
- Sugar: one cup ( as per taste)
- Badam: 10 pieces
- Pista: a handful
- Malai: 1/2 cup( optional)
Method:
- Boil milk on medium flame.
- Keep boiling by stirring in between until the milk reduces and becomes little thick consistency.
- Add malai.
- Add sugar to the boiled milk which has now turned into malai like consistency.
- Take half of almonds and pista and grind it into powder.
- Add this powder to the milk.
- Cook on low flame for a minute by stirring continuously.
- Switch off the flame.
- Chop remaining almonds and pistas for garnishing.
- Take kulfi moulds and pour the mixture.
- Garnish it with chopped almonds and pistas.
- Freeze for almost 7-8 hrs.
- If you don't have kulfi moulds add the mixture to matka or a cup.
- Serve chilled.
